Adolfo Suárez Madrid-Barajas International Airport receives all commercial flights arriving in Madrid. It is located 12 kilometers northeast of the capital and has four terminals in operation.
The airport has a free assistance service for passengers with reduced mobility. You can request it by phone or through the AENA mobile application form.
People with hearing disabilities can request assistance through the Telesor mobile application (it works like a chat), by phone: (+34) 913 211 000
If you are a wheelchair user, we recommend requesting an adapted taxi or eurotaxi in advance or when you arrive at the airport.
Line 8 (Nuevos Ministerios-Airport T4) connects the capital with the international airport of Barajas. To T4 it takes less than 20 minutes and to the rest of the terminals, only 12 minutes. All stations on Line 8 are accessible to wheelchair users.
You also have the Airport Express Bus at your disposal, with a 24-hour service from Atocha (between 6:00 and 23:30) and Cibeles. With stops at O'Donnell (confluence with Doctor Esquerdo), T1, T2 and T4.
The suburban train network offers you this service between Príncipe Pio station and Barajas T4, with the new line C-1. This tour takes place with departures every half hour. The train and the stations of the C-1 line are accessible to wheelchair users. In the case of having the AVE ticket, this connection route with the Airport can be made free of charge.
