Euskotren is the public transport company dependent on the Basque Government that stands as one of the largest operators in the sector in its territorial area. It manages train, metro, tram and bus services.
Euskotren Trena carries out suburban and metropolitan services in Vizcaya and Guipúzcoa. Their involvement with accessibility has led them to classify the stations based on the mode of access to the train and the functionality of the ramps (see link). The reserved wheelchair locations are located in car R1 and located in the central area of the train.
The trains have an informative public address system for visually impaired people and light signals for hearing impaired people, as well as an intercom suitable for hearing aids and a passenger information system with video entertainment.
