To get around Dalt Vila (Ibiza's historic center), there is no adapted bus line. And although access by private vehicle is not allowed, authorization could be requested for access with your own adapted car, so it would be a good option to take your car from the Peninsula by boat to tour the Island. To request access, you must request a certificate digital. The authorization can be requested electronically through the electronic headquarters of the Ibiza Town Hall page (see link) or through the citizen attention service, (Cetis Offices - building on calle canarias, nº 35, 07800 Ibiza ), providing the necessary documentation as appropriate.
Thanks to the fact that Ibiza is a member of the World Heritage Cities Group, in recent years the accessibility of the resources available to the city is being assessed. We have included the link with the accessible route that has been created.
In case you cannot travel around the island by car, which would be the recommended option, there are public buses that connect the main urban centers and the coves with each other.
There are 34 bus lines on the island and most of them start at the main towns on the island: Ibiza, San Antonio and Santa Eulalia.
The buses are adapted for wheelchair users following current regulations, but it may be the case that there is still a bus without the accessibility requirements and even some of the stops, so we recommend that you make sure beforehand with the companies.
These are the contacts of the companies that have adapted buses. We attach a pdf with the lines they cover and the details of the stops:
