The Alcalá de Henares train station is located near the old town, in the Plaza del 11 de Marzo. It also has two other commuter stops: La Garena and Universidad de Alcalá. It mainly offers medium-distance and suburban train services, connecting with Madrid in just over half an hour, with access to the AVE network of cities in the capital.
Near the station there are urban bus stops with lines 2 and 12.
