The Donostia - San Sebastián de Adif station, also called Estación del Norte, is located on Paseo de Francia, 22, next to the bus station. When leaving the train station, on the left hand side there are some stairs and an elevator that lead to the underground bus station. Right in front, there is an urban bus stop of the Dbus* network (lines 45, 24, 17 and 37).
It is the central station for medium and long-distance trains that connect the city with other national destinations. Trains to travel through the Basque Country and to Hendaye in France leave from the Amara Euskotren station (see link).
The interior routes of the station are accessible to wheelchair users. It has cafeteria services, accessible parking, adapted toilets (request a key), adapted lifts, adapted platforms, wheelchairs, luggage carts, car rental and a hotel.
It has the Atendo service (permanent assistance) for PRM and the Dialogue service for people with hearing disabilities, through Telesor and the apps available for Android and iOS environments.
If you have a disability equal to or greater than 33% or if you are a pensioner over 18 years of age in a situation of permanent disability, you can take advantage of the discounts offered by the Gold Card. It can be purchased at the ticket offices of the stations or in travel agencies, presenting the certificate, the disability card or supporting documentation. It is valid for one year.
*NOTICE TO ACTIVATE SOUND INFORMATION: the sound traffic lights and sound warnings on buses and shelter panels of the Dbus urban bus network are activated by a remote control that can be requested, on deposit, at the Tourist Office del Bulevard, 8 and at the Tourist Office of the ADIF and RENFE Station.
