Descripción

Segovia has two train stations both operated by Renfe.

The urban station is located in the center of the city and offers Media Distancia services, among them, the Madrid-Segovia train, as it forms part of Media Distancia line 53, whose Regional-type trains connect the Madrid Atocha station and Segovia in an average time of 2h 10min. The train frequency is 8 daily connections from Monday to Thursday, 4 on Fridays and 5 on weekends and holidays. It also provides Cercanías services through the C-8 line, stopping at Madrid Nuevos Ministerios, Madrid Recoletos, Pinar de las Rozas, Ramón y Cajal, Cercedilla and Villalba, among other intermediate destinations.

The other station, known as Segovia-Guiomar, is located about 4.5 kilometers from the town center. It accommodates long-distance and high-speed trains, incorporating Segovia into the AVE Cities Network. The journey from Segovia to Alicante by AVE only lasts four and a half hours, and the one from Segovia-Oviedo with ALVIA, four hours. Shuttle trains connect the Segovia-Guiomar train station with Madrid and Valladolid in just half an hour. From the same station depart every 15 minutes, the shuttle buses of lines 11 and 12 to the city center. It is not connected to the station in the center of Segovia.

The interior routes of both stations are accessible to wheelchair users. It has cafeteria services, accessible parking, adapted toilets, adapted lifts, adapted platforms, wheelchairs and luggage carts.

It has the Atendo service (permanent assistance) for PMR and the Dialogue service for people with hearing disabilities, through Telesor and the apps available for Android and iOS environments (see links to the stations)

If you have a disability equal to or greater than 33% or if you are a pensioner over 18 years of age in a situation of permanent disability, you can take advantage of the discounts offered by the Gold Card. It can be purchased at the ticket offices of the stations or in travel agencies, presenting the certificate, the disability card or supporting documentation. It is valid for one year.
