Salamanca airport known as Matacán, is a small airport, for public use and with an air base of the Air Force. It is located on the Madrid highway, km 14, just 17 kilometers from the city of Salamanca.

The airport also has a free assistance service for passengers with reduced mobility. This service is requested through the web, with a minimum of two and a half hours in advance, although it is recommended that you request assistance at least 48 hours before the departure of the flight.
For passengers with hearing and/or speech disabilities, there is an information and attention line by chat through the computer, Tablet or Smartphone. This service is operational from 07:00 to 24:00, every day of the year. Salamanca airport has a car park located a few meters from the terminal, it is free and has 4 spaces reserved for PRM. There is a taxi rank at the airport gate, a supplement applies. There is also a bus service that connects the Salamanca Bus Station with the Airport, the schedule varies depending on the scheduled flights.
