The Port of Ibiza is located 10 km from the Airport to the port. It is integrated into the city of Ibiza and is what gives it a huge tourist attraction.
The Port of Marina Botafoch is where the ships from the Peninsula arrive from Barcelona, Valencia and Gandía (the latter only operates in summer) with the Transmediterránea company and from Barcelona, Valencia and Denia with Balearia. The advantage of this option is that you can take your own car on the boat. Consult option with each company.
At the time of making the reservation, the required needs would be notified depending on the type of disability and the shipping company would cover said assistance needs to the extent of its possibilities.
To request PRM assistance:
With Transmediterránea you can request assistance when booking your ticket by calling 902 454 645 or 91 736 99 57 or at the specific window for Persons with Reduced Mobility at the Maritime Station of the embarkation port. This reservation will be made in strict order of request.
With Balearia you can request assistance when booking your ticket by calling 902 16 01 80 or 91 266 02 15. If you want to contact us beforehand for any questions or queries, you can do so by calling 971 31 40 05 or, Given the current context, they offer the option of filling out a form with queries at this link: https://helpcenter.balearia.com/hc/es/requests/new
In the case of Balearia, assistance dogs are allowed to accompany people with disabilities. In accordance with the specific regulations, they have free access to the ship's lounges and their boarding is free, although they must indicate this when making the reservation.
Within this category they include emotional support pets, as long as the passenger shows the certificate of the doctor, psychologist or psychiatrist that accredits it.
The Port ticket offices would be the Meeting Point and it is recommended to go 1 hour before the ship's departure.
The information about their ships and schedules are continuously updated on the web and can also be consulted in their app, so we recommend consulting them directly at the time of the trip. Check the links of each company.
Maritime cruises also arrive at the Port of Marina Botafoch. To go to this port you can take the L12A and L12B buses from Avda Santa Eulalia, which are accessible, in front of the McDonalds, right in front of the Formentera Maritime Station. Some cruise companies have their own buses that leave an hour before the crossing from this same place. Check directly with the shipping company in which you are going to make the cruise.
From the Formentera Maritime Station, boats leave for the Island of Formentera in the summer season. It is close to the old port of Ibiza.
There are 4 companies that operate from the Formentera Maritime Station and are accessible:
Trasmapi, Mediterranea Pitiusa, Balearia and Aquabus Ferry (the latter also leaves from Figueretas beach and from Playa d'en Bossa).
Hours change according to season. We recommend being at least 20 minutes before departure. All shipping companies are at the same dock. If you already have the ticket because you have formalized it online, you can go directly to the pier and, if not, to the ticket offices located there. We include their links and contact telephone numbers for inquiries and/or formalization of your reservations.
