Zarataxi brings together 98% of the taxi sector in Aragon. The three cooperatives of the city of Zaragoza are integrated into APATZ, Provincial Auto-Taxi Association, but they are independent from each other. The association maintains a collaboration agreement with the Zaragoza City Council in order to increase the fleet of vehicles adapted for people with physical disabilities. The adapted taxis (58 in total) have easy, comfortable and safe access for wheelchair users and those with reduced mobility. It is equipped with sufficient interior space to accommodate at least one passenger in a wheelchair facing the direction of the vehicle and with the corresponding seat belt. This service is managed directly by the taxi drivers themselves, through radio stations. If you wish to request an accessible taxi, you can do so through the telephones of the cooperatives.
