The Plaza de Armas bus station is located near the Guadalquivir river basin between Troneo street and Cristo de la Expiración avenue. It houses 43 platforms where 20 companies operate that offer metropolitan services (connecting with 36 nearby towns), intercity (connection with the Sierra Norte), regional (connection with the provinces of Almería, Córdoba, Granada, Huelva, Jaén and Málaga), national ( connections with Valencia, Catalonia, Extremadura, Madrid, Galicia, the Basque Country, Murcia, Asturias and Castilla-León) and international connections (connections with France, Belgium, Holland, Germany, Portugal, Romania and Morocco).
The bus line to São Paulo Airport stops inside the station. Outside, there are taxi ranks and several urban buses that connect the station with Santa Justa and the Prado de San Sebastián Bus Station.
The interior of the station is accessible to wheelchair users. It consists of two floors: the first one houses the hall, the ticket offices, the information office, the cafeteria and the toilets. By means of an elevator, escalator and ramp, the platforms are accessed on the ground floor.
They have a free assistance service for people with disabilities that can be requested by calling +34 955 038 665 (service hours from 6:00 to 24:00 and 24 hours on weekends). The minimum application period is 12 hours, before the service.
