Descripción

The Bibao Intermodal station, previously known as Termibus, was inaugurated at the end of 2019. Located on Calle Gurtubay, 1, it is completely underground and forms part of the San Mamés interchange, which includes Renfe Cercanías rail services, the Bilbao metro and Bilbao tram. It is connected on the surface with the Bilbobus urban buses. Every 20 minutes, the Bizkaibus line A3247 connects the station with the airport.

It has a taxi service, slogans, packages, car rental, a cafeteria and a shopping and leisure area. It has a car park with 526 spaces, several reserved for people with reduced mobility.
The terminal has been designed taking into account basic criteria of accessibility and universal design in terms of access, internal routes, fixed furniture, information systems, signage, orientation and the transport service itself. In fact, it is a "Designated Station" (European Regulation UE181/2011), providing free specialized service and attention to any person with reduced mobility or disability (see conditions in the link Attention to people with disabilities).

If you are a wheelchair user, it is advisable to contact the bus company you want to hire in advance.
