Descripción

The Amara Euskotren station, known as the Easo station, is the central station of the public transport network of trains that connect Donostia with different towns in the Basque Country and with Hendaye (France). It is located in Plaza Easo, 9. Near the station there are urban and interurban bus stops as well as a taxi rank and parking spaces reserved for PMR.

It is accessed through two accessible ramps and the interior circulation is also accessible for wheelchair users. It has an accessible toilet (somewhat difficult to find). Although there is no escort service, the information service provides punctual help if you need it.

In the wagons, the space reserved for wheelchairs is located in car R1 and located in the central area of the train. Access to the train varies depending on the stations. At the Amara station, wheelchair users access through the PRM door without a ramp (car center, door A: see the Euskotren network train and station accessibility link). The trains have an informative public address system for visually impaired people and light signals for hearing impaired people, as well as an intercom suitable for hearing aids and a passenger information system with video entertainment.
