Various taxi companies operate in all the municipalities of the Island. Tenerife taxis are white. They all have a taximeter, which must be started from the beginning of the trip, although it is possible to hire an excursion, for any area of the Island, at a fixed price determined in advance.

Eurotaxi have an access ramp and allow people to travel in their own wheelchair. Except for some larger capacity taxis, the maximum number of people that can travel in a taxi is four, including children.
